This was the first time I've been to the Navajo and I was totally impressed! It was very clean and didn't smell like a dive bar at all! It smelled like a restaurant which was really nice since Boise has no shortage of stinky dive bars. The prices were awesome Jason was a great bartender! Pool, darts, touch tabs, and plenty of room to hang out will have me coming back for sure!

The Navajo is a treat hidden away in a strip mall next to Chiang Mai Thai Cuisine and Emerald Lanes. Pretty spacious inside with cozy seating for long hang outs or enjoying the game. This self proclaimed dive bar opened in the 50's and still displays original features like a huge fireplace, murals and booth seating. The Navajo Room offers rotating daily drink specials and a happy hour discount for their variety of beers and full bar. Not a lot of craft beers being served here, but a heavy pour and great prices make up for it. They don't serve food, but have a good selection of snacks you can buy. I was glad that they were not a cash only bar and had only 0.75 cent pool games! Although they don't host karaoke or pool league very often any now, the two pool tables, electronic dart board and touch tabs offer enough entertainment if you're looking to play a little. I enjoyed the Navajo and the service and will definitely come back again when we're bar hopping around the Bench in Boise!

Took some Chinese take-out in there, so I could just sit quietly and eat. Was waited on at the bar Immediately and a good beer suggestion made, since they didn't have my favorite. Very friendly clientele. They spoke but didn't impose. BOISE, THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE. WHOEVER THE BARTENDER WAS...I failed to get his name, set the tone for an awesome neighborhood bar.

It's my favorite dive bar in the whole wide world lol. Seriously, the staff and the customers are all pretty good people. Treat them right, they will treat you better. Come in with an bad attitude, well, I wouldn't recommend that! The drinks are cheap and the Beer is always COLD!!! It's truly my favorite bar

The Charlie, the owner, is a great guy. The prices are great and the drinks are strong. I LOVE ALL OF THE BARTENDERS, PEOPLE, AND THE VIBE OF THIS PLACE. There are several places to order food within a 3-minute walking distance. Close to downtown for pregaming. OR COME ON IN AND STAY FOR THE GAME. ALL THE NEIGHBORHOOD LOCALS. BRING FOOD FOR A FREE POTLUCK.

If you're looking for a dive bar, search no further. Couple pool tables, beautiful warm fireplace, plenty of seating, and cold beer. My favorite part of the visit was watching my friend. Talk to two guys that were taller than him. These guys are over 6'-4' and at least 50 years old. They are probably regulars who I hope you see on your visit. The reason this was the highlight of my experience there. Was the confused expression my friend had on his face. You could tell he didn't know how to look up to someone. It was just a priceless moment. Hopefully this review gets you in their doors.

Pritch sure runs a clean place where you can belong so bring your friends and stay awhile get some Thai food next door, play some pool meet your neighbors it’s my new church. Don’t drink and drive ever.

I loved this place! This is a little dive bar in a strip mall, but my friends and I had a great time here. When you walk in, the first thing that hits you is the overwhelming odor of commercial cleaner, which is how every good dive bar should smell. The bar itself is old 70's wood grain Formica that is well worn and chipped in places from all of the drinks that have been slid across it over the years. My friends and I drank there for about three hours, played at least 20 games of pool AND bought three t-shirts and the tab was only 97.00. Louis was a fantastic bartender (even though my friend called him 'Dan' for three days) and there was always an eclectic mix of people coming and going. This place is definitely a 'MUST VISIT' place for any dive bar aficionado visiting Boise.
